A font inspired by blackletter, espresso and modern shapes. The idea was to create a font with two characteristics of blackletter and espresso - the upper part of the letters represents the pressure characteristic of the brewing method, and the lower part represents the combination of coffee drops and the finishing stroke of blackletter. The letters have had minimal strokes and spacing to create contrast and are more modern, with some strokes taking on the appearance of modern-day fonts. As a display type, "Blatter" will give you the feeling of standing in the middle of the blend of classic and modern, handmade and digital - it's as exciting, as explosive as a morning cup of espresso.
