When TT Trailers was first released in 2019, it quickly gained popularity in the film industry for its harmonious look on posters and titles. However, it soon found use among designers for its versatility. Now, TT Trailers can be seen on magazine covers, restaurant signs, and websites.
In 2022, the TypeType studio team made the decision to revisit TT Trailers and make improvements to the font. We expanded the character set, corrected the contours, and improved the technical content. We added extended Latin and Cyrillic characters, new symbols, and additional sets of numbers. In addition, we added italics with a 15-degree tilt, making the font more eccentric. We also added the italics to the variable font and increased the number of OpenType features from 29 to 42.
The new version of TT Trailers retained all of the qualities that made it popular with designers, but it is now even more convenient and versatile. It is suitable for titles, posters, websites, and printed materials, and can be used to embellish restaurant and cafe signs.
