The creation of a new font inspired by the opening credits of "Dr. Strangelove" may seem unnecessary, but that did not deter me from designing STRANGELUV. This unique typeface pays tribute to Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece and even references "Men in Black" in its design.
My inspiration for STRANGELUV came from Pablo Ferro's legendary lettering, which I reimagined with new features such as serifs, lowercases, ligatures, and peculiar accents. The font also comes in two versions: compressed and extended, both available in light and regular weights.
Overall, STRANGELUV is a playful and creative typographic homage that showcases my love for Kubrick's work and Ferro's iconic lettering.

Probably not, yet that didn't stop me from designing STRANGELUV, my little typographic homage to Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece (and "Men in Black" too!).
STRANGELUV is a restyling of the legendary lettering by Pablo Ferro. Among the new features of this typeface: serifs, lowercases, a few ligatures, strange accents and stuff like that. Two versions in the family: compressed and extended (both light and regular)!
