Possive is an ultra narrow display typeface that conveys a powerful and cutting edge aesthetic. It was inspired by the Chinese song "Passive/被动", which captures the complex emotions of a woman who desires to leave a negative relationship yet is unable to do so. Stylistically, Possive has a unique characteristic: a corner at the upper right of all letters, symbolizing the controlled heart. This visual element serves to emphasize the song’s message of intense emotional turmoil. Possive is available in both Regular and Italic styles, offering a variety of ways to express this difficult love story.

The idea for this work comes from a Chinese song-Passive/被动. This song tells the complicated mood of a woman who wants to leave a bad love but cannot do without. The story in this song gave me the idea to make this font. I used an extraordinarily strong and sharp-edged font style to express this particularly painful love. There is a corner at the upper right of all letters, and this corner is the controlled heart.
