The concept of Patsy embodies a lack of self-awareness regarding its flaws. This typeface is rough around the edges, lacking refinement and sophistication, yet it exudes a bold and daring energy. It disregards the importance of spatial and temporal aspects, resulting in a loud and monotonous appearance. Patsy is the perfect candidate to take the fall, acting as a bag man, fall guy, or scapegoat. It is always ready to be thrown under the bus and take one for the team. Being the last to catch on to the joke makes you the Patsy, a position that is both amusing and pitiable.
Despite its shortcomings, Patsy is an enjoyable idea that arose from a sense of boredom. Though its execution was lazy, it proved to be a fruitful exploration. The process was arduous, and the typeface was nearly abandoned. However, Patsy has found a home in the shadows, where it can be appreciated on rare occasions. Ultimately, it is a typeface that can be cut loose without shame, but it still has its place in the world.
