Onest: Moldova's First Locally Crafted Typeface for Honest and Comprehensible Communication

Onest is Moldova's very first locally crafted typeface, designed with a single purpose in mind - to facilitate honest and comprehensible communication between the state and its citizens, while also contributing to the country's modern and open image. The seven fonts of Onest are a fusion of geometric and humanistic grotesques, featuring neutral grapheme forms that draw inspiration from the modernist neo-grotesques of the latter half of the 20th century. This typeface is an ideal combination of spaciousness and legibility, providing ample space while maintaining readability. Onest offers text individuality thanks to alternative symbols that can set the tone and personality of any message. It is a smart typeface that adapts to the text and offers optimum layouts for each element in any context.
