The Manzoni typeface is a testament to the incredible power of the Erasmus exchange in Italy. Drawing inspiration from letters found on street signs and walls, I was determined to include all the polish diacritics so the typeface could work well with the polish language. This project took me months to complete, with my design process taking me to four different countries - cafes, libraries, buses, the beach, and my own room. My journey began in Italy, as I explored the streets of Bari and other cities, gathering inspiration for my project. The Manzoni typeface is a beautiful reminder of the amazing experience of the Erasmus exchange in Italy.
Manzoni is a modern and unique typeface made during my stay in southern Italy š®š¹ š in the last semester of university. It was a part of my masters project and Iām very happy to share it with the world! ā¤ļøāš„ The letters are inspired by italian signboards found on the streets of Bari and local graffiti.
Manzoni is perfect for display and logos as well as other uses. Included character set contains latin uppercase with polish diacritic signs, more symbols coming later soon!
