The Sinhala Art alphabet is a unique and distinct font style, with the initial design being the 'Wakadeka' two-tone pattern. This pattern is made up of curved shapes that require practice and precision to perfect. With the Lanka Curve typeface, one can easily replicate the traditional Sri Lankan designs, as it exposes the different shapes in the font. As a first attempt at creating an English typeface, this font is available for download and use. I encourage everyone to give it a try and provide feedback. In the Sinhala Art alphabet, the teacher will initially give the ‘Wakadeka’ design (two-tone pattern) first. That pattern made out of curve shapes. The student should tune it up properly until he practices his hand. ‘LANKA CURVE.TTF’ typeface is dragged as it exposes the shapes in traditional Sri Lankan designs.
