F5.6 font was a mixture of the design of a standard typeface for machine engraving and the design of a typeface mainly composed of straight lines that appears in (good old) science fiction works, but the elements of the standard typeface for machine engraving were since reorganized the F1.
Basically, only horizontal, vertical, and 45° straight lines are used for the skeleton, and while creating the atmosphere of a bitmap font for low resolution, the corners are rounded to prevent it from becoming too stiff. Did.
