Defectica is a unique sans serif font family that includes two distinct styles: a clean, geometric grotesque and a broken, disconnected variant. The broken effect is achieved by simply enabling Caps Lock, as the uppercase characters are designed with breaks and disconnections. This intentional design choice explores the contrast between perfect geometric forms and the visual disruption of shifted strokes.

2) broken, non-connecting font
To break the font during typing, just press shift (enable Caps Lock) because the broken letters are in the cells of the uppercase in the font file. The goal was to try to break the perfect geometric shape using the shift of the stroke.
