Choripán is a typeface born of a classic design: Frankfurter by Bob Newman. It has been my favorite for years, but the lack of lowercase characters, special characters, and diacritics made the digital versions of the font incomplete. To remedy this, I set out to expand the original set, adding the missing characters and features such as alternates and ligatures. For fun, I also added a dingbat set to give it a modern twist. This typeface is best used for larger sizes such as titles, letterings, and logos. With Choripán, the classic design of Frankfurter can now be appreciated in its entirety.
