BBBixxxel is a collection of pixel-based fonts that cater to various themes and styles. One of the fonts in the collection is Strobo, a 2-axis variable pixel font that transports you to a dimly lit basement club at 7am, surrounded by the thumping beats of electronic music. Strobo's variable axes allow it to shift between a round, organic character and a mechanical structure. Its design is perfect for rave flyers and dance events that are dark and rhythmic.
Aufgang Ost is another pixel font in the collection, inspired by the tile structure found in the east entrance of the Hauptbahnhof Saarbrücken. The font's brickwork construction influences its design, making it ideal for awareness campaigns and projects related to railway stations.
Invader is a font inspired by the famous space invader aliens, drawn on a similar grid system. It's perfect for creating cool tech logos or text patterns with an 80's game vibe.
Ocelot is a pixel font that translates broad nib strokes to a semi-detailed pixel grid. It comes with a second smoother style, with tighter spacing that's suitable for larger sizes.
Simulator is a layered pixel typeface that finds use in various contexts, such as simulation of technology, safety engineering, testing, training, education, and video games. It's also used for scientific modelling of natural and human systems, particularly in economics.
Finally, BBBixxxel's F1 inspired pixel typeface is designed to embody speed and limitlessness. The font's streamlined stems have been tested in the Lobbby wind tunnel to ensure that it remains unbeatable.
With BBBiXXXEL we want to celebrate pixel based fonts in every form. Pixel fonts are fun and easy to design and can thus be an accessible entry to type design. Our first steps in type design were pretty pixelated for sure :-)
In this spirit we�ve prepared four of our own fonts and asked our two friends Daniel and Bronko to share theirs so we can have a release rush of six consecutive days. We got it all: an All-Caps Font, some smaller and bigger families and of course variable fonts. Make sure to come back every day between 31st May and 5th June to collect them all!

Lobbby24 is an open source typefoundry.
We want Lobbby to be an accessible platform for type design, which allows us to autonomously publish fonts. We�re also acting as a collective, collaborating on typefaces, helping each other out and giving feedback on a regular basis.
All our fonts are open source and free under the SIL Open Font License.
We encourage designers to not only use them but to make them fit their projects by editing, distorting and extending our typefaces.
