Antykwa Toruńska: An Iconic Typeface Designed by Zygfryd Gardzielewski

Antykwa Toruńska is an iconic typeface designed by Zygfryd Gardzielewski, a typographer from Toruń, Poland. It is a serif typeface with unique features, such as the widening of vertical stems at the top, and the wave-like form of some horizontal and diagonal lines, as well as of the serifs. The font was first cast in metal at the Grafmasz typefoundry in Warsaw in 1960 and is used for typesetting of small prints. It is available in Normal and Condensed styles, with four weights from Light to Bold, each with a matched Italic version. This timeless font is a popular choice for creating beautiful typography in print and online.
