Greenwashing Machine Font

I created a word mark for a "center for personal development and growth," embodying the essence of the new age hippy culture. The design was influenced by a water droplet shape present in their logo. Recently, I embarked on a project to craft an entire font, using a leaf shape this time, as a tribute to their logo. Initially, I began with the regular version, which resulted in a delightfully irregular outcome. I proceeded to create two more variations: one tilting to the left and the other to the right. I decided to name them "bold" and "italic" instead of using "left" and "right" to ensure Illustrator recognized them as part of the same font family.

Although the organic and free-spirited style, often associated with the hippy culture, isn't my personal preference, I chose to release the font regardless. I acknowledge that there's a diverse audience out there, each with their own creative needs. This font could find utility in various scenarios—ranging from oil companies trying to appear environmentally conscious to activists like Extinction Rebellion, who are ardently fighting for change. For the record, I stand in support of the latter group.

I started with the regular, which turned out very irregular, and decided to make two more versions; one leaning to the left and one leaning to the right. (I named them bold and italic, because using left and right, Illustrator wouldn't see them as being of the same font family)
I'm not a big fan of that macrochaotic organic hippy style, but I decided to publish it anyway, there's always a couple of people out there who can make good use of it, whether it's oil companies trying to greenwash their filth, or Extinction Rebellion fighting them. I'm supporting the latter btw :)
